Planned in full. Carried for you.
A grand journey has a thousand moving parts. Our job is to make every one of them invisible — so that your only task, once you arrive, is to travel.
A grand journey, in four unhurried steps.
A conversation, not a form
Every journey starts with a real conversation — by call or in writing. We want to understand the shape of your year, your pace, your appetite for altitude and adventure, and the things you have always meant to see. There is no obligation and no template.
We chart the route
Our planners design the line across the world: the order of countries, the rhythm of moving and resting, and a hotel for every single night — each one a place we have personally stayed. You see the full itinerary, day by day, before anything is booked.
We handle the hard parts
Visas for every country, border crossings, internal flights, train tickets, permits for sites like the Inca Trail, expedition-ship berths, restaurant reservations — all arranged, with a single document pack and a 24-hour operations desk behind you.
You travel
You arrive at the start point and we take it from there. Expert local guides, seamless transfers, and a daypack as your only luggage worry. If the weather or the world intervenes, we re-route in real time. You simply travel.
One price. Almost everything in it.
International flights to your start point and home from the finish are quoted separately, so you can use airline miles or choose your own cabin. Everything else, end to end:
- All accommodation — every night, personally vetted
- Internal flights, trains, transfers and expedition vessels
- Professional expedition leaders and expert local guides
- Most meals, and reservations at the tables worth booking
- All permits, park fees and site entries
- Full visa guidance and border assistance
- Carbon offsetting for every flight within the journey
- A 24-hour operations desk for the length of the trip
Planning a journey
What kind of trips does Viajes Globales create?
Viajes Globales designs long-form, expert-guided journeys that cross continents slowly — typically four to thirteen weeks — beginning in Latin America or Spain and reaching the most extraordinary places on Earth. Every journey is escorted, fully organised, and built around the finest hotels, restaurants and experiences at each stop. We also tailor shorter trips to any single destination in our guides.
How far in advance should I book?
For a grand journey, we recommend starting the conversation nine to twelve months ahead. The finest hotels, the Antarctic voyages, the Inca Trail permits and the top restaurants all book out far in advance, and a longer runway gives us room to secure the very best of each. Shorter destination trips can often be arranged within three to six months.
Can journeys be customised or shortened?
Yes. Every grand journey is built in modules, so you can travel a single segment, combine segments across different journeys, or extend any part. Private departures can begin on almost any date. Tell us your dates, pace and interests and we build the itinerary around them.
Do you arrange trips for solo travellers, couples and families?
All three. Roughly half of our travellers join as couples, a third travel solo, and the rest are families and small groups of friends. Small-group departures have no forced-pairing single supplement, and family journeys are re-paced with children in mind.

Ready when you are.
There is no wrong time to begin the conversation — most travellers start nine to twelve months ahead.
